It is a web-based online community and music database where musicians can share and sell their music. amazingtunes.com contains over 45,000 new songs and is growing by around 100 songs per day.
The songs cover all genres of music, from classical and ambient through folk and jazz to pop, rock, indie, electronica and metal. Users can rate, tag, recommend, play and purchase songs: amazingtunes.com remembers what they do and creates the Amazing Radio playlist from this information. The system gives users close control over the music they like, permitting the creation of an unlimited number of 'virtual radio stations', all of which can be played across the internet 24 x 7. Amazing Radio was launched on June 1st 2009 to remarkable critical and audience acclaim, and has continued to grow its audience and reputation for innovation. Amazing Radio is broadcast from a fully-equipped, state of the art radio studio (Formerly Century Radio) in Newcastle.
